If you are planning to spend your vacation in Negros Occidental, then this place should definitely be on your itinerary. The place does not only offer a magnificent sight, but also a beautiful love story. The whole mansion is a sign of the unwavering love Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson has for his beloved wife Maria Braga Lacson.

This place is a must-visit for many reasons. For instance, the mansion tells us a beautiful love story. It was pointed out by our tour guide that the initials of the owner and his beloved wife were molded on all the posts of the home. It was done as a sign of his unwavering love. Next, the mansion lends us a glimpse of our history. In this case, it was explained to us, that the mansion was burned because there were rumors that the Japanese military will use the residence as their headquarters. Lastly, the place gives us beautiful sceneries for photography. The antique mansion may be in ruins but it is nonetheless breathtakingly beautiful and photogenic.

the initials of the owner and his beloved wife were molded on all the posts of the home. And everything was constructed with cement mixed with egg whites

HOW TO GET THERE:

The mansion is far away from the city so you should "kontrata" a taxi or other means of transportations for a back and forth ride.
